AIPAC'S Statement on the horrific attack at the Capital Jewish Museum:
We are outraged and horrified by the terrorist attack that resulted in the murder of two Israeli embassy staff members—Sarah Lynn Milgrim and Yaron Lischinsky—last night in Washington, DC. We mourn with their family, friends, colleagues at the Israeli Embassy, and the people of Israel, and we stand with our friends at American Jewish Committee.
We appreciate the dedicated work of law enforcement to apprehend the shooter and appreciate that Attorney General Pam Bondi personally went to the scene.
Since the barbaric Hamas attack of October 7, Israel and the Jewish community throughout the world have confronted increased levels of antisemitic demonization and blood libels. We call on American leaders to loudly and unequivocally denounce this attack and the hateful rhetoric that inspires such vile actions.
